Alrighty! These were my first batch of projects, within the first and/or second week. We all used clay from the mixer for the first few weeks, due to a shortage of new bagged clay. I was surprised how well it worked; thee was some trouble with foreign particles and airholes, but not always as bad as I feared, though I do still prefer fresh bagged clay.
