... It totally did not just erase all that on me. Grrrraawwrrrrrr! *Punts Weebly* Blasted buggy websites... *Muttermuttermutter*

ANYWAY, shortened version of what I WANTED to post: I'm presenting tomorrow, stuff's coming out of the glaze kiln, stuff will go in, and I'm almost done with my Na'vi-fied lidded mug.

Yeah.

Time for bed now. Sleeeeepppp...... ZZZzzz...

... To the end of the year! And me only just finding some luck on the wheel, too =/

Oh well. I still have all next year - Super Senior-ness for the win! My goal for next year is one... No, nevermind. Was going to say "one hundred", but I'll be kind to myself (and shelfspace!) and cut that down to fifty. A hundred is my secondary goal - so maybe those shelves will be groaning after all =)

In other news, I got five projects done this week! Four bowls and two plates, with two of the former of the special Red clay (which I thought was the new red clay when I started, before I saw how much it stained the water >.>). First two (Red bowls) are Bisquing over the weekend, other two (Biggest and best!) and the plate are going in next week after footing. Last day of wet clay was today, I believe, so the rest of the time before summer will be for footing, attaching a couple handles, and glazing.

'Tis all for today, Happy Last Blast and God Bless! Come to tyhe Choir Concert next Wednesday

Still though, at least it's an update! Right? Right.

Well, I've finally gotten back into the wheel - I.E. I'm actually able to make stuff now! We're running low on clay though, but the stuff in the mixer hasn't been too bad the last few days, so 'tis all good. Made a few bowls, one of which may not last through the bisque due to cracked walls and a disposition to being collapsed.

Made a tall, pot-bowl that came out great. Made another one that didn't so much - I was pulling out bits and (BIG!) pieces of sponge from the wall through the whole thing, until finally it was time to clean up and the darn thing was too riddled with potholes and it was no good anymore. Seriously, WHY do people put sponge pieces in water? There was no way some of those bits got in there by accident, they were too big. Argh!

Anywho... Right, rant done. I'd put pictures up of progress stuff, but my iPod hasn't been charged and not only is my (lost) phone's camera awful, but I don't even know how to get them off!
But anyway.  Put three pieces in the art show, will put up their paragraphs and (if I can get them off Mom's camera) pictures up before bed tonight. Since, y'know, I'll be gone 'till Saturday after that. Astronomy fieldtrip, whoots!

And now I shall bidden thee adieu, that I might finish packing and homework before the morn. *Salutes* Fair sailing, one and all!

Yeah, not quite sure what this will be. I might scrap it, I might not - depends on if I can think of something it can even be used for besides looking cool. I hate wasting stuff, though, as can be testified to my saving every cracked, broken, sanded-based-because-it-was-too-dry-to-foot thing I make. What can I say? I'm a packrat, got the gene straight from my Mom and great-Grandma.

I'll show this to Mom, see what she makes of it. And yes, I think I'll keep the broken-off pieces even if I do scrap it. Fun little fiddletoys for all, yes'm. Mmm... That's something to consider when I've got nothing to do before cleanup. Fiddlethings!

And maybe some markers for glazes. Thin little things we can tape to the buckets so even if they're labeled wrong, we can figure out what it looks like. And if it runs. That'd be very helpful, though I suppose Mystery would be hard to do. It is, after all, always changing. Always a Mystery... ~_^
